LAMBORGHINI DIABLO GT
In
35 years of production, Lamborghini has built only
8000 vehicles. The latest, a limited-edition GT
version of the Diablo, will be held to a run of
just 80. Extensive use of exotic materials will
trim its curb weight to 3220 pounds, making this
the lightest Diablo ever. It'll also be the most
powerful road-going variant, carrying a 6.0-liter/575-horsepower
version of the DOHC V-12 (standard Diablos use a
5.7-liter/530-horse engine). With a maximum speed
projected at 210 mph, this latest Lambo also would
be faster than any production-line GT sold today.
